The Convent of the Holy Trinity dates back to the 11th century. Thanks to Guido Sforza, it was renovated at the end of the 15th century and entrusted to the Franciscans, who administered it until the 1990s. According to legend, Count Guido wanted to erect the convent as a votive act for having defeated and killed a "ciferous snake" that infested the Fiora countryside. In the 18th century cloister, which consists of a lowered arcade, half of the legendary "dragon's head" is still preserved in memory of the episode. Guido chose the convent for his burial, his tombstone located inside. The religious site is situated in a wooded silver fir biotope at an altitude between 600 and 720 meters above sea level.
